About the Editors
John Katunish (he/him) is the Director of the Writing Program and Norman M. Eberly Multilingual Writing Center at Dickinson College. He holds a PhD for the Language, Culture, and Society Program at the Penn State University College of Education.
Noreen Lape (she/her) served as Director of the Writing Program/Norman M. Eberly Multilingual Writing Center, which offers writing tutoring in eleven languages, from 2009-2023. She developed a Writing Associates (Fellows) Program, transformed a well-established English writing center into a Multilingual Writing Center, administered two tiers of the three-tiered writing requirement, coordinated a writing-focused faculty development program, and organized the writing assessment project. She has published articles on training tutors in emotional intelligence, developing a multilingual writing center, and adapting writing pedagogy to mathematics courses. In 2020, her book Internationalizing the Writing Center: Developing a Multilingual Writing Center was published by Parlor Press; it offers a rationale, administrative plan, and tutor training strategy for a multilingual writing center. She currently serves as the inaugural director of the Center for Teaching, Learning, & Scholarship at Dickinson College.
Sarah Rice (she/her) is a senior (spring 2024) at Dickinson College majoring in English and minoring in Sociology. She has worked as a tutor and a writing associate for the Norman M. Eberly Multilingual Writing Center for three years, and has had her work published inWLN: A Journal of Writing Center Scholarship. She is currently completing a senior thesis on the southern gothic literary cannon, and plans to continue working in the field of digital editing/publishing after graduation.
